About Crystal

I believe in sieging every opportunity to inspire others embody the self-love and confidence that enables them to excel and make their dreams come true. Having grown up in the South Bronx, New York from humble beginnings, I know firsthand that empowering and inspiring women can change lives and lift communities. I value integrity, contribution, and growth, and as a Certified Coach, I help goal-setting executive women design an inspired life, elevated mindset, improve their leadership skills, and feel empowered to improve their lives. My joys are my awesome husband, 3 amazing children, and 7 adorable grandkids. 

With 30 years of combined experience in executive and leadership development, human capital management, diversity, equity and inclusion and strategic planning, I have led diverse organizations and programs in academia, private-sector and federal government. I hold a B.S in Human Development and Sociology and certifications in Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Executive Leadership. I am a certified Diversity Dialogue Facilitator and Qualified Administrator (QA) for various assessment tools. As a Strategic Advisor and Program Manager with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), I also founded JourneyUp Coaching, a practice designed to deliver personalized tools to propel executive women, take major steps toward boosting their self-confidence, achieving their goals and reaching their dreams. I guide women on their transformational journey by drawing motivation, clarity, commitment, and creativity out of our partnership.
